Presiden Senegal Buka Museum Biografi Nabi Cabang Dakar

RIYADH: Senegalese President Macky Sall on Sunday officially opened the Dakar branch of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization.

Sall told of his happiness at the opening, commending the efforts of the Muslim World League in highlighting Islamic values which are embodied in the event, which uses the latest exhibition techniques.

RIYADH: Islamic scholars highlighted the importance of unity among the faithful at a Ramadan gathering in the holy city of Makkah on Wednesday.

“Islamic Ummah (worldwide Muslim community) is fine,” said Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, secretary-general of the MWL and chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, as he opened the conference titled “Global Conference for Building Bridges between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects”.

Klub Pelajar Arab Saudi di Inggris Selenggarakan Kompetisi Pembacaan Al-Qur’an Ramadhan [1445H]

LONDON: Saudi student clubs in the UK have organized a series of Qur’an recitation competitions during the holy month of Ramadan.

Along with various other activities arranged by the clubs, the competitions are aimed at strengthening spiritual and cultural ties between Saudi scholarship students based in Britain.

Suara Masjidil Haram di Makkah yang Menenangkan dan Penuh Perasaan

MAKKAH: They have reverberated through the Grand Mosque in Makkah for centuries — the soulful and soothing voices of muezzins calling the believers, and imams leading prayers five times a day.

Almukbariya in the Grand Mosque of Makkah is the place from which the muezzin, in his soulful voice, chants the adhan (the call to prayer). It is the place from which he repeats the Takbir al-Ihram (opening takbir), ruku (bowing), sujud (prostration) and the concluding prayers, in response to the imam’s prayers.

Para Ulama di Konferensi Makkah Bahas Pemersatu Madzhab-madzhab Islam

RIYADH: Some of the world’s leading scholars have gathered in Makkah for a conference titled “Building Bridges between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects.”

The gathering, being held under the patronage of King Salman, and organized by the Muslim World League, began on Sunday evening at a venue near the Grand Mosque. 

The two-day conference began with a speech by the grand mufti of the Kingdom and president of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh.

BANGKOK: For the last two decades, Dr. Winai Dahlan has helmed the development of halal research initiatives in Buddhist-majority Thailand to ensure food safety standards that conform with Islamic laws. 

The country’s start in halal science began as an answer to increasing calls by Thai Muslims for scientific testing in halal food development in the late 1990s after the discovery of beef sausage products for Muslim consumers that were tainted with pork caused an uproar.
