Presiden Palestina di Qatar untuk Bahas Upaya Gencatan Senjata

DOHA/RAMALLAH, West Bank: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Doha on Sunday for talks on securing a ceasefire in the Gaza war with the Qatari emir, whose country has been at the heart of mediation efforts and hosts political leaders of militant group Hamas.
Palestinian news agency WAFA said Abbas would meet emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Monday, but did not say if he would also meet leaders of Hamas, a group that has long been at odds with Abbas and his West Bank-based Fatah group.

Yayasan Qatar “Kampanye Disinformasi” di Balik Penutupan Kampus Doha di Texas A&M

LONDON: A months-long “disinformation campaign” was behind Texas A&M University’s decision on Thursday to close its Doha campus, Qatar Foundation has said.

The university’s System Board of Regents voted 7-1 in favor of ending the contract with the foundation, effectively winding down its Doha campus over the next four years.

In a statement after the vote, the university body said the board had reevaluated its decades-long presence in Qatar “due to heightened instability in the Middle East.”
