Koalisi Laut Merah Pimpinan Amerika Serikat Hancurkan Drone dan Kapal Houthi

AL-MUKALLA: The US-led naval coalition in the Red Sea has destroyed a Houthi drone and a remote-controlled, explosive-laden boat targeting merchant vessels off the Yemen coast.
US Central Command said early on Thursday that its forces had destroyed a remote-controlled boat, while an aircraft from the US-led coalition shot down a drone launched by the Yemeni militia on Wednesday at international commercial and naval ships.
“It was determined these weapons presented an imminent threat to merchant vessels and US Navy ships in the region,” CENTCOM said.

Amerika Serikat Perkenalkan Rancangan Resolusi PBB yang Upayakan Gencatan Senjata Segera di Gaza

JEDDAH: The United States has circulated a draft UN Security Council resolution calling for an “immediate ceasefire linked to the release of hostages” in the Gaza Strip, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

The diplomat made his announcement while on a tour of the Middle East that will include a stop in Israel.

Key Israel backer the United States has vetoed previous UN Security Council votes on the nearly six-month war, objecting as recently as in February to the use of the term “immediate” in a draft submitted by Algeria.

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has received US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the Saudi Press Agency said early Thursday.

The meeting discussed “Developments in the Gaza Strip, and efforts made to stop military operations and deal with their security and humanitarian repercussions, the SPA added.

The pair “reviewed bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation, in addition to the latest regional and International developments.”

Israel Beri Jaminan ke Amerika Serikat Mengenai Penggunaan Senjata

WASHINGTON: Israel has submitted written assurances as required by the US State Department stating its use of American-supplied weapons are not being used to violate humanitarian laws in Gaza, a US official said on Wednesday.
Israel had until a Sunday deadline to submit written assurances. The State Department will assess by early May whether Israel’s assurances are credible and report to the US Congress.

Amerika Serikat Jatuhkan Sanksi ke Tiga Jaringan Pengadaan Senjata Iran

WASHINGTON: The United States on Wednesday imposed new sanctions on three procurement networks that are supporting Iran’s ballistic missile, nuclear and defense programs, the Treasury Department said in a statement.
It said the networks — based in Iran, Turkiye, Oman and Germany – had procured carbon fiber, epoxy resins and other missile-applicable goods.

Amerika Serikat Akan Cabut Batas Visa Afghanistan Berdasarkan Kesepakatan Biden dan Kongres

WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden’s administration has reached a compromise deal with Republicans in House of Representatives to lift the number of resettlement visas for Afghans who worked for the United States, US lawmakers said on Tuesday.
The congressionally-authorized limit of 38,500 Special Immigration Visas (SIVs), which offer a path to US citizenship, had been expected to be reached sometime around the August anniversary of the 2021 US troop withdrawal.

Amerika Serikat Setujui Kemungkinan Penjualan Rudal Javelin ke Maroko, Kata Pentagon

WASHINGTON: The US State Department has approved the possible sale of Javelin missiles and related equipment to Morocco for an estimated cost of $260 million, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.
The prime contractors of the anti-tank missiles are Lockheed Martin and RTX Corp, the Pentagon said in a statement.
