CENTCOM: Kapal Tanker Milik Cina Terkena Rudal Houthi di Laut Merah

DUBAI: A Chinese-owned oil tanker was attacked off Yemen Saturday by ballistic missiles fired by Houthi rebels, who have intensified strikes on Red Sea shipping, the US military said.
The Panamanian-flagged, Chinese-owned and operated Huang Pu issued a distress call but did not request assistance, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on social media platform X early on Sunday.
“No casualties were reported, and the vessel resumed its course,” the statement said.

NEW YORK: Russia and China on Friday vetoed a US-led draft resolution at the Security Council on Gaza, with Moscow accusing Washington of a “hypocritical spectacle” that does not pressure Israel.

The US, Israel’s main ally which has vetoed previous ceasefire calls, put forward the resolution which for the first time would have supported “the imperative of an immediate and sustained ceasefire” and condemned the October 7 attack by Hamas.

QUETTA, Pakistan: All eight gunmen who attacked Pakistan’s Gwadar port on Wednesday have been killed, said the chief minister of Balochistan province, where the port is located.
“Eight terrorists tried to attack the Gwadar Port Authority complex today. All of them have been neutralized by security forces,” Sarfraz Bugti said in a post on social media platform X.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: China, Iran and Russia have begun a joint naval drill in the Gulf of Oman, a crucial waterway near the mouth of the Arabian Gulf, officials said Tuesday.
Footage aired by Chinese state television and a video released by the Russian navy showed the ongoing drill, known as “Marine Security Belt 2024.”
China sent the guided-missile destroyer Urumqi and the guided-missile frigate Linyi to the exercise. Russia’s forces are being led by the Varyag, a Slava-class cruiser.

Cina Sebut Perang di Gaza “Aib bagi Peradaban”

GAZA STRIP, Palestinian Territories: China described the war in Gaza as a “disgrace to civilization” and called on Thursday for an immediate ceasefire as the conflict stretched into its sixth month despite efforts by mediators to reach a truce.

Wang also said Beijing supports “full” United Nations membership of a Palestinian state.

“We support Palestine becoming a formal member of the United Nations,” the foreign minister said.
