UEA Terangi Bangunan Terkenal dengan Warna Rusia setelah Serangan Teror Moskow

LONDON: The UAE illuminated several of its landmarks in the colors of the Russian flag on Saturday night in a show of solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attack at a Moscow concert hall, the Emirates News Agency reported.

At least 143 people were killed and dozens injured in the attack on Friday evening, for which Daesh has claimed responsibility.

Yordania dan UEA Tingkatkan Pengiriman Bantuan ke Gaza selama Ramadhan

LONDON: Jordan and the UAE have ramped up their efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza during the holy month.

The UAE announced on Sunday that it had carried out its 13th airdrop over inaccessible areas in the northern Gaza Strip containing 24 tonnes of food and relief supplies, the Emirates News Agency reported.

In addition, the third Emirati aid ship set sail for the Egyptian city of Al-Arish, carrying 4,630 tonnes of humanitarian supplies bound for Gaza.

DUBAI: Jordan’s King Abdullah held talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the president of the UAE, on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.

Their discussions included regional and international issues of mutual concern, including the war in Gaza, and ways to enhance the ties between their countries, the Emirates News Agency reported.

Pemilik Restoran Dubai Minta Maaf karena Bagikan Video Pro-Israel Kontroversial

LONDON: A Dubai restaurateur issued an apology on Wednesday following backlash for sharing a controversial pro-Israel video claiming that Palestinians are brainwashed into embracing violence.

The video has been produced by American nonprofit PragerU, which is known for its conservative viewpoints and which has been labeled a “political propaganda machine.”

Emma Sawko, co-founder of the popular vegan restaurant chain Wild & The Moon and organic cafe Comptoir 102, posted a statement of apology on her Instagram account on Tuesday.

CBUAE: Aset Bank Islam UEA Capai 191 Miliar Dollar AS

RIYADH: UAE Islamic banks saw their asset values rise to 703 billion dirhams ($191.4 billion) by the end of 2023 in what was an 11 percent annual increase, official data showed. 

Figures released by the Central Bank of the UAE revealed this was a jump from 630.7 billion dirhams in December 2022, marking a growth of 72.4 billion dirhams over 12 months. 

On a month-on-month basis, assets increased by 0.6 percent in December, totaling 4.2 billion dirhams compared to November’s 698.8 billion dirhams.

Bulan Sabit Merah Uni Emirat Arab Perluas Proyek Bantuan di Gaza Selama Ramadhan [1445 H]

DUBAI: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has announced that it will extend its humanitarian relief programme in Gaza to support the Palestinian people during Ramadan, Emirates News Agency reported on Monday.

The ERC has allocated  AED 3 million ($817,000) to purchase food supplies for the Iftar project, including rice, wheat, sugar, beans, among others, sourced from Egypt. These provisions are set to sustain 28 community kitchens and 10 bakeries across Gaza.

Manila: A UAE-based charity foundation organized free eye treatment initiatives in one of the Philippines’ largest islands, as it seeks to support the local community and improve accessibility to quality eye care. 

More than 2 million Filipinos are affected by some form of visual impairment, including over 1 million people who are affected by cataracts.
