CAIRO: The Arab League has called for urgent aid to be sent to Gaza and condemned those attempting to block this support.
The Arab Leagueâs Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said at the organizationâs headquarters on Sunday that the blocking of aid was passing a âdeath sentenceâ on the Palestinian people, and was a form of âcollective punishment.â
